I was just looking at my bandwidth stats and noticed that I’ve used a whopping 15 GB of bandwidth in 13 days.

After further looking I realized it was happening because some douchebag (who shall remain nameless for the sake of their safety and well being) decided to hotlink a 600KB wallpaper I had sitting on the server.  600KB in itself isn’t all that harmless but take into account that one file had over 35,500 hits and accounted for 14 of the 15 GB consumed, I had no choice but to enable hotlink protection.  You can still link to pages and posts, but hotlinking images is no longer allowed.
